In order to install a pattress board within an I stud lining system, the Siniat Pattress Bracket for a 18mm plywood pattress  or Siniat Shallow Wall Channel for 15mm pattress can be used. This is fixed to the face of the I stud and allows the pattress to be secured either side within the line of the framing - example below:
