Siniat have limited data on timber frame partitions (Loaded and Un-Loaded). Advice can be given wherever possible, however it is recommended to seek advice from the STA (structural timber association) or other specialist bodies dealing with timber frame systems which may be able to advise more on the boarding required to suit performance criteria. This should be checked and approved by the project fire consultant prior to installation to ensure that it meets both the site requirements and the latest Part B updates.
