When should I use the MFCCLIP Connecting Clip to secure the Ceiling Channel to the Primary Channel and when should I screw fix the two components together?
Siniat Connecting Clips (MFCCLIP) may only be used to connect Siniat Ceiling Channel to Primary Channel when only a single layer of plasterboard is fixed to the grid with no additional loadings.
For double layer systems use 12mm Siniat Wafer Head Self Drilling Screws. Two fixings must be used each side of the ceiling channel into the primary channel at every junction.
