The standard grid installation for the MF ceiling system is based on 1200mm x 1200mm x 400mm relating to the installation centres of the hangers, primaries and ceiling components. This grid is capable of supporting 35kg/m2 including self weight.

Should you need to support a greater weight, the centres of the primary channels can be reduced, thus increasing the number of hangers. The hangers remain at 1200mm centres down the line of a single primary channel.

Primary at maximum 900mm centres increases max load to 50kg/m2 including self weight

Primary at maximum 600mm centres increases max load to 74kg/m2 including self weight.
