Guidance on door openings within Siniat Shaftwall systems
The standard door opening detail within the Siniat Drywall Manual - Shaftwall Systems is designed to support a door leaf weight of up to 60kg.
The opening detail incorporates reinforced jamb construction and should be installed in accordance with the published Siniat Shaftwall details.

| Up to 60kg | Standard Siniat Shaftwall door opening detail may be used. |
| Up to 100kg | Additional CH-stud max 150mm away from jamb (Detail available on MySiniat) |
| Greater than 100kg | A separate structural support arrangement, such as an SHS post and lintel system, should be designed and provided by others. |
