Do I need to tape and joint a partition if it is above the ceiling level?

To maintain system performance, all Siniat Partitions should be tape and jointed with the appropriate Siniat tape and compound.

As a minimum, joints must be bed, taped and filled. In such instances where a decorative finish is not required, such as ceiling voids, the final finish-coat to the joint can be omitted.

Full details of the jointing process can be found in the annex section of the Siniat Drywall Manual.
